# Cash Flow Forecast

The Cash Flow Forecast projects your cash position forward -- based on open [AR](https://theasst.com/docs/ar-aging/)/[AP](https://theasst.com/docs/ap-aging/) due dates, your bank balance, and (optionally) [Recurring Invoices](https://theasst.com/docs/recurring-invoices/) revenue that hasn't been generated yet.

## Options

Set a **Start Date**, **Period** (Weekly, etc.), and **Count** (how many periods to project). Check **Include Recurring Revenue** to fold in projected income from recurring invoices that haven't generated yet, not just what's already on the books.

## Reading It

Each row is one period -- its expected receivables, payables, and net inflow, rolling into a **Proj Balance**. This is a projection, not a guarantee -- it assumes open items get paid on schedule.
