# Home Page and Menu Pages

The home page (**My Stuff → Home**) and the landing page of each section — Sales/Service, Items, Bills, Accounting/HR, Banking, and Reports — are **tile menus**: a grid of large buttons, each one a shortcut to a page. They are meant to be arranged the way you work.

## Using Tiles

- Click a tile to open that page.
- Hover over a tile that has a group of pages behind it (for example *Banking* or *Financial Reports*) to see a flyout of its sub-pages, and click one to go straight there.
- You only see tiles for pages you are allowed to use; see [Users and Permissions](https://theasst.com/docs/users-and-permissions/).

## Configure This Page

Click **Configure This Page** at the top of the page to change how it looks. The link changes to **Done Configuring**; click it when you are finished.

- **Move tiles** — drag a tile to a new spot. Tiles snap to a grid and your layout is saved automatically.
- **Hide tiles** — remove a tile you never use. Hidden tiles collect in a tray labeled *Hidden tiles – click to add back*; click one there to bring it back.
- **Large Tiles / Small Tiles** — large tiles show an icon, title, and a short description; small tiles are compact, with the icon beside the title. Your layout stays in place when you switch.

Each person arranges each page separately, and your arrangement follows your login to any computer. If an administrator adds a page you should be able to open, it appears in your tiles after you log in again or click **Reload permissions** in the [Utility Menu](https://theasst.com/docs/utility-menu/).

The Clients section opens straight to the [client list](https://theasst.com/docs/client-overview/), and [Setup](https://theasst.com/docs/setup-overview/) has its own fixed menu. Neither can be rearranged.

## On a Phone

Tiles work the same on a phone: tap one to open its page, or drag it by touch while you are in Configure This Page. Your arrangement is the same on every device you log in from.
