TBA Academy: Certification Program

Last update:

The TBA Academy teaches what you need to do real work in The Business Assistant™. It is free for TBA customers and advisers. The lessons are here, in the knowledgebase. Certificates and exams are planned for a later release; they are not open yet.

Start Here #

Work through the lessons for the area you want. Each one tells you what you will be able to do, which knowledgebase articles to read, and a short exercise to try in a demo company. You do not need to wait for the exams to learn this material, and it is useful whether or not you ever take them.

Planned: Certificates and Exams #

We plan to offer free certificates that show what you can do: Certified User, one Specialist certificate for each area above, a comprehensive Professional certificate, and Certified Adviser for advisers and implementers. None of these exams is open yet, and nothing in TBA or in your adviser agreement requires a certificate. When they open, this page will say so.

The exams are being designed to be fair and practical:

  • Open reference. You may use the knowledgebase and TBA itself. We want to test whether you can apply what you know, not whether you have memorized menus.
  • Timed, with the clock on our server, so refreshing the page does not stop it.
  • Different every time. Questions are drawn at random from a larger set and shuffled.
  • Your own work. You take each exam yourself and do not share questions or answers.
  • A certificate with its own ID that anyone can check, valid for a set period, which you renew by taking the exam again.

Details such as pass marks and the number of attempts may change before the exams open.
